ROKA

Micro-review

People show their true colours when faced with an all you can eat/drink menu. Personally, I’m not leaving until I’ve spiked global sushi demand and caused a rift in the restaurant’s balance sheet – I blame my working class roots for this.

While ROKA on Charlotte Street isn’t strictly all you can eat, they did ask if we’d like any of the smaller dishes repeated before the mains came out. Close enough. This was for the premium han setto brunch menu.

ROKA is trendy, and therefore busy. But the food is excellent and the open kitchen creates a vibrant atmosphere. We visited on a hot spring Saturday so they opened the windows onto the street; extra pleasant points.
